When your relationship isn’t where you want it to be.
Every relationship has a history: conversations, disappointments, and experiences that have brought you closer or pushed you apart.
You may keep returning to the same disagreement. One person may feel unheard; the other may feel that nothing they do is enough. Perhaps you’re both uncertain about how things reached this point.
Couples therapy offers an opportunity to look more carefully at what’s been happening between you and what each of you hopes might change.
Two people. Two experiences. One relationship.
I want to understand each person’s experience, how you’ve been affected, and what matters to you now. We may examine familiar disagreements, the effects of your actions, and difficult questions about hurt, trust, or the future.
Taking each person’s experience seriously doesn’t mean every action carries the same responsibility. Our conversations should make room for understanding while being clear about harm and its consequences.
