Practical questions about getting started.
Choosing a therapist involves practical questions as well as personal ones. You’re welcome to ask about fees, appointments, and how the practice works before deciding whether to begin.
How much does therapy cost?
I work on a private-pay basis. Contact me for current pricing.
Can I use insurance?
I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan, so check your benefits with your insurer before assuming reimbursement.
How is privacy handled?
Private pay means I don’t submit insurance claims on your behalf. Therapy is confidential subject to legal limits and permitted disclosures. If you choose to submit a superbill, your insurer will receive the diagnostic and service information it contains.
Where do appointments take place?
In-person appointments are available in North County San Diego. Contact me for office details and current availability.
What happens in a first conversation?
We can talk about what brings you here, what you’re looking for, and questions you have about working together. You don’t need a clear explanation or a prepared list of goals.
How do I know whether therapy is right for me?
A consultation is a chance to discuss your circumstances and consider whether this practice and the work we might do together seem like a fit.
How do I schedule a consultation?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Use the link below to review current booking options.
